Rally — Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy is part of and incorporated into the Terms of Service. This policy explains what happens to your payment when a game changes, when you leave, and how "Rally credit" works. It applies to games arranged through Rally Technologies LLC ("Rally"). Amounts and fees shown to you at the time of a transaction control.

1. Free games

You can join or leave a free game at any time before it starts at no charge. Leaving frees your spot for someone else.

2. Paid games — the leave ladder

When you join a paid game you pay up front. What you get back if you leave depends on timing:

• Leave more than 24 hours before start: you receive a refund as Rally credit equal to your payment minus a cancellation fee of 10% of your payment, minimum $0.50. Your spot is released to others.
• Leave 24 hours or less before start ("late"): your spot is forfeited and your payment is not automatically refunded, because the host may have been counting on the roster. However, if someone else takes your spot, you are automatically issued Rally credit for the full amount you paid. If no one takes your spot, no refund is due.

The platform fee is non-refundable except where this policy or applicable law says otherwise (for example, host cancellations — see below).

3. Host cancellations

Rally may also call off a paid game automatically if it has not reached the host's stated minimum number of players shortly before kickoff. When that happens, every paid player is refunded in full, exactly as for a host cancellation.

If a host cancels a game before it starts, every paid player is made whole and receives a full refund (including the platform fee). Refunds for card payments are returned to the original card; refunds for payments made with Rally credit are returned as Rally credit. Prepaid waitlisters (see below) are refunded in full as Rally credit.

4. Waitlists (paid games)

When a paid game is full you can join its waitlist, and you pay up front to hold your place — the same way joining the game works, by card or Rally credit.

• If a spot opens up, the first person on the waitlist is automatically added to the game using the payment already made. There is no second charge, and you'll be notified that you're in.
• If a spot never opens — the game starts, or the host cancels it — you are automatically refunded in full as Rally credit and removed from the waitlist. No platform fee is charged on a waitlist spot that never becomes a booking.
• If you leave the waitlist yourself before being added, you are refunded in full as Rally credit.

5. No-shows

If you join a game and do not attend, you are treated as having stayed in the game (a late leave/forfeit). No refund is due unless the host cancels. Please leave in advance if you can't make it, so your spot can go to someone else and you can qualify for the applicable refund.

6. Rally credit

Refunds under this policy are generally issued as Rally credit — store credit you can spend on any game in the app.

• Rally credit is applied automatically at checkout and can be used toward game and waitlist payments.
• Rally credit is non-transferable, has no cash value except where required by law, cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash, and is tied to your account.
• Rally credit does not expire, unless we tell you otherwise in advance or as required by law.
• We keep a ledger of your credit; the balance shown in the app is authoritative.

7. How and when refunds are issued

• Rally credit refunds are typically applied immediately or within a short time after the qualifying event (for example, when a waitlist spot is filled, or when a game is cancelled or starts).
• Card refunds (for host cancellations of card-paid bookings) are initiated through Stripe and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

8. Payment disputes and chargebacks

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us first at support@rallypickup.com and we'll work to resolve it. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected in the version and effective date above and, where appropriate, highlighted in the app. The policy in effect at the time of your transaction applies to that transaction.
